Mud baths, sweaty tents (for us at least), Moro food in cardboard boxes, Fortnum and Mason coffee, The Idler Academy by the river banks, music, cocktails and readings.
Readings by Adam Thirlwell and Joe Dunthorne rustling maps from Where You Are on the Five Dials stage like a garden party re-imagining of our Ace Hotel event thoughtfully guided by the delightful Lauren Elkin.
What a treat. Thank you for asking us to come along and for letting us sticker the audience with mini maps (biggest thanks to our kids in tow).
And thanks too to the weather Gods for shining happy summer nights and hot days on this messy crew of first time Port Eliot festival goers. We’re pretty sure we’ll come again. We kinda miss it already.
